Gaye Hukel, LEED AP
 
Gaye's diverse and exceptional professional background makes her expertly suited to manage operations for Carlson Studio Architecture. As with our other team members, Gaye brings a personal and professional commitment to sustainable practices to her position.
She has more than 10 years experience working with a sustainable community in Arkansas where she helped build housing that incorporated a variety of sustainable materials and methods such as straw-bale, cord-wood and cob construction. During that time, she also gained valuable experience developing community infrastructure from solar systems to cisterns. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and directs the firm's U.S. Green Building Council's LEED certification applications from registration to completion.
In addition, her current responsibilities for the firm include bookkeeping and finance; IT administration; research for new products and systems; human resources; managing & directing operating systems, policies and procedures.
