Kaitlyn, a Sarasota native, began her architecture career in Boston before heading back to the sunshine state.
Kaitlyn attended the University of Massachusetts, where achieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Design-Architectural Studies, followed by receiving her Master’s degree in Architecture from Northeastern University. After her education, Kaitlyn began her professional career working for a residential architectural firm in the greater Boston area. One of her roles, Project Manager, allowed Kaitlyn to work not only with clients, but also with consultants from a variety of professions. She was recognized for being a positive force on the team and keeping projects organized and on schedule.
Since Kaitlyn and her husband returned to her hometown of Sarasota, she continues to pursue her love of residential architecture while adding much-needed “green design” aspects to her projects. This led her to continuing her education of sustainability, receiving her LEED Green Associates accreditation, and working for one of the most sustainable architecture firms in the state of Florida.
While at CSA, Kaitlyn has not only become our residential project manager, she has also expanded her design experience in a variety of project types, such as religious, educational, and institutional projects. When starting new projects, Kaitlyn believes that caring for the environment while carrying the vision of the client through all stages of the design is of upmost importance and that a successful design solution is defined by the integration of sustainable concepts with cost effective and stunning design solutions.
