Philip Lenzen, Associate AIA

Philip Lenzen graduated Magma Cum Laude from St. Louis University in 1993 with his Bachelor of Psychology. After working in the Psychology field at Washington University School of Medicine he went on to receive his Master of Architecture from Washington University in 2003.
After graduation, Lenzen became an Intern at Ugarte & Associates in Palmetto, Florida, gaining 5 years of experience on projects ranging from high end residential to commercial and industrial, all with a "Florida Style" approach to design and placement.
Philip is an avid photographer and artist with a focus on photographing nature and architecture in unique and interesting ways. He has a passion for looking at how our built environment can learn and evolve from the lessons of the natural environment and devotes his time to exploring how each project can take into consideration the elements of light, time, sustainability, craftsmanship, feeling and a relationship to the land and surroundings.
Lenzen is an Associate Member of the AIA and currently undertaking the role as the Gulf Coast Chapter Associate Co-Director.
