Mr. Carlson was Project Architect for this bay front home in a velocity zone requiring concrete pile foundations, 3 bedroom, 4 bath with courtyard pool. The 4,000 SF residence takes full advantage of the views to the bay from both the first and second floors. Conceived as a "village" of forms, scale with its neighborhood context was emphasized. Standing seam metal roofs were utilized to combine contemporary styling with a Florida vernacular feel.
