The Faith Lutheran Church fellowship Hall and classroom building is the first phase of a three part Master Plan performed by Carlson Studio.
Carlson Studio Architecture designed the 30,000 sf building to house a multi-purpose space with a full basketball court, and new administration offices. The project is also centered around a large modern Library / Media Center, and 12 Sunday school classrooms.
The Library in particular was designed to be a flexible space for meetings, weddings, reading space, and children's play area.
While this project was not seeking LEED certification, it was designed to be as sustainable as possible. Design features include R-33 exterior wall panels from Koreteck, an R-30 roof was installed as part of the metal building system, and low VOC paints and adhesives were used throughout the project.
Careful consideration was given the acoustics in the multi purpose space, 200 panels were integrated into the interior design to create the proper environment.
