Manatee County Parks Department and the Botanical Park Association joined forces with Carlson Studio Architecture (formerly CC&P) to design a new Botanical Park for Manatee County. To begin the effort CSA designed several buildings needed by the parks department including an activities and picnic pavilion, a standalone public restroom facility, and an equipment building for a future water plant equipment. Since this phase was completed the park has gone on to become the Palma Sola Botanical Park and has grown both in size and popularity with in the community.
