| The update of the Downtown Master Plan was delivered by Carlson Studio Architecture in association with Duany Plater-Zyberk and Company. The Downtown Master Plan included comprehensive planning of the downtown core and surrounding neighborhoods. The project created the framework for a pedestrian friendly downtown area. This was achieved through the development of building typology, street hierarchies and coding. It required continuous public input sessions from early goal settings meetings to final results. The team also included Hall Planning and Engineering and a transportation planner who coordinated transportation planning throughout the process. The DPZ/CSA team conducted a seven-day design charrette to develop Master Planning principles that were later reviewed and finalized.
